Is the "procedural" format working, or is it time to abandon that original aspiration and instead go back to doing what they do best: creating impenetrable mythological arcs?

If I wanted a procedural I'd watch CSI. I watch Fringe because I keep hoping it is the new Lost.
This is the episode where Joshua Jackson was injured on set...ouch!
I just finished watching the 4th episode, it was great. Hehehe but we have to wait 2 weeks for the 5th. Cant wait for it.

why the hell do we have to wait two weeks? what is up with that?
is this common in lost shows? j.j. leaving his audience hanging. this is the 21st century where people have the attention span of a fly.
UGHHHHH.... Why would they make us wait TWO weeks for the next episode!?! I mean, I dont think I can wait that long!
