Hi again. Since I didn't post any polls on Wednesday and Thursday, I'm making up for that today with 2 new polls. After 90210, today's second poll and final poll of the week is about a small show, I'm not sure anyone has heard about it on SpoilerTV, it's called Fringe.

It's a sci-fi drama series starring Anna Torv as FBI agent Olivia Dunham and it airs on FOX since September 2008. After a first season airing on Tuesdays, a second season airing on Thursdays and a third season landing on Fridays, the show's fourth season will premiere on Friday, September 23rd at 9pm, in exactly 2 months.

Anyway you should check it out, I have the feeling this show could be big around here. But for those of you who know already watch Fringe, here's a poll to figure out which season is the best of the series so far :

Reminder: Vote For Fringe in Hulu "Best In Show" Poll

The voting for Hulu's second annual Best in Show competition is still going on, but time is running out!

There are only two more days left to vote, and Supernatural. has a slight lead over Fringe in this first round of voting.

Come on Fringe fans! We have almost double the viewers of Supernatural (4 million viewers vs. 2.2 million)... are their fans just more dedicated?

However, since HitFix Senior Editor Alan Sepinwall gets a 5% vote, and he picked Fringe, a close race still may go to Fringe. But let's not let it come to that...

There are also 15 other shows that need your vote, like How I Met Your Mother, Dexter, and Mad Men. The voting for round one ends on March 6th!

The voting for Hulu's second annual Best in Show competition has begun! They are taking your votes to find out which show is the most incredible, era-defining series on television.

In this first round, Fringe is up against its Friday time-slot competition Supernatural.

Here is the match up, according to HitFix Senior Editor Alan Sepinwall, who gets a 5% vote (and picked Fringe!):

The second "Fringe" stopped running away from its own identity as a weird science fiction drama with a complicated mythology, the show became much, much better. The war between the two parallel universes has added scope and depth and intrigue to the series, and getting to play a different version of Olivia has dramatically livened up Anna Torv's performance.

SUPERNATURAL
Not that Sam and Dean's rabid fans need any more encouragement to vote for it, but a deep run in this contest will give me yet another reason to feel guilty for never finding the time to get caught up on a series I've enjoyed on the handful of occasions when there wasn't a big time conflict. Muscle car + well-constructed arc storytelling is right up my alley usually.

While Fringe has a much bigger audience (nearly double), SN fans are very devoted, so the competition will be fierce. In this early stage, Fringe and Supernatural are neck and neck.

Also, there are 15 other shows that need your vote, like How I Met Your Mother, Dexter, and Mad Men. The voting for round one ends on March 6th!

Vote for Fringe To Be In Spoiler TV Banner

Spoiler TV is redesigning their banner, and they are letting fans decide which shows will make the cut. Anna Torv is in the current banner, so it would be great to keep Fringe there.

The voting will be done via Twitter. In order to place you vote, you have to click the Fringe twitter link and let the link post EXACTLY what it says to Twitter. According to the rules, you can not add or delete anything from the tweet, or it will not be counted (along with 500 or so Lie To Me votes...)

UPDATE: It appears you ARE allowed to vote multiple times, as long as you follow the rule above and post the exact tweet provided by SpoilerTV. Good News on Fringe Ratings for The Firefly

The ratings for the first Fringe epsiode on Friday nights look pretty promising, according to Entertainment Weekly:

By some miracle of magic or science, Fox’s Fringe moved to Friday night and did not go down in the ratings.

The episode — titled “The Firefly” (nicely ironic considering the show’s move to Fox’s infamous Death Slot) — actually improved upon its most recent Thursday performance.

Fringe, which featured Christopher Lloyd as a guest star, delivered 4.9 million viewers and a 1.9 preliminary adults 18-49 rating last night. That’s right in line with its Thursday season average. Remember, Fox’s Kevin Reilly said if the show maintains its Thursday numbers on Friday, he’d renew it, so let’s hope the drama can keep this up.

Things look even better when you add in the 3-day DVR viewings:

The drama has gained an additional 42 percent thanks to DVR playback after only three days of Nielsen measurements.

Fringe jumped from a 1.9 adult demo rating on Friday night (matching its Thursday average) to a 2.7, thanks to the added viewing. Compare that to CBS’ Blue Bloods, which has averaged a 2.4 on the night. Competition will climb in the coming weeks as Fringe will face more original shows like CW’s Supernatural, but this is a great start.

Tonight was supposed to be the big test, with new episodes of Supernatural returning, but it looks like that will have to wait one more week, as the CW pushed the Supernatural (and Smallville) returns to February 4.

Like EW's Jeff Jensen, I will of course be watching Fringe live, and don't plan on watching Supernatural at all. But what about you?
