I give Anna Torv the nod simply because Lilly's character is a complete nutcase.
yeah, Kate got really annoying with the love triangle. she ended up not being such a strong female character because of that. Olivia seems to have much more substance, though.
I agree about Kate...she ended up being too ditsy for me.
Still, non of them are Dana Scully. ;-)
Before Season 4 of Lost I would have said EL was my fave, but unfortunately TPTB have chosen to take her character in the direction of a ping pong ball...going back and forth between two men...one she has zero chemistry with but has to be with him because he is the lead, and the other she has hot burning chemistry and is with him for ratings.
I love Anna Torv, and I hope they keep her character for the most part. She has an extremely expressive face that just draws you into her.
