@Old Darth.
Hey I by accident opened this post in blogger. There are unsaved changes. I don't want to leave it because I'm afraid I delete something. I'm sorry. Can you please check to see if everything is still there and save it so I can get out...

I agree with the happy part , its an emotional rollercoaster ,they work towards something beautiful,incredible and then they tear it apart and you have to wait,pray for them to know each other again. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard you cringe for fringe to let SOMEONE be happy in this world of constant letdowns with the bad guys getting away with everything in the other shows . I found this one through my love of paranormal and fortean times.not being a fan of tv I found this and can't let it go. Fitting they stop on the relevant number of 5. I see several possible side projects to continue in the same vein but I worry it won't live up to this beautiful show.

The joy it brings me to know that Peter did the right thing and made Olivia an honest woman is ridiculously insane! LOL!

Thanks for the post Old Darth. Reading the synopsis of the episode "Transilience Thought Unifier Model-11," I feel that what we saw through the end of the fourth season of Fringe, was, or will be back, serving only as support for the stories that will be told now situated in the year 2036, I think. I have the distinct impression that the first four seasons are, or if they are like the first part of the saga of Fringe, I guess, even if we have some situations in the past, the main character, or "hero" of Fringe, will the Olivia for her daughter Etta, and it seems quite clear to me. I may be totally wrong, but from the 28th, we will have a new Fringe, with more action, new mysteries and a lot of fight in style conspiracy against the Observers than, or in place of ZFT, shapeshifters and disputes between universes, I see. I also think, for anyone who knows the first part of Fringe, and all who attended so far this "new" Fringe, will be sensational, and for those who never saw Fringe, will certainly be interesting because everything will be done with a lot of action scenes and effects special, I think. No doubt this will be an unforgettable season of Fringe.

Why is that ? I mean all the other series have good real sneak peeks, why don't we ? even serie premiering in november already have something to show, to warm their fans and make the wait sweeter...Fabsie

Yep Olivia is the hero of fringe, the paragon of prefection, the one everybody loves and her "slaves" are hated and not special, normal and boring. I hate female leads.

Thanks for laying your misogyny out so clearly for the rest of us to see.

I'm hoping for a tighter, faster paced final season due to the reduced episode count. An 'Occupation' theme certainly lends credence to that.

@45 if you hate female leads why do you follow the show? makes no sense. anyways can't wait for season 5 to start! I'm sure it will be great :D

Guys, don't bother to reason with 45! She spams her way into everything. I just can't help but feel sorry for J.Jackson for having such an embarrassing fan.

Maybe 45 will like my theory, so far we have only seen Male Obervers, maybe it's because there level of technology allowed them to replace the mothering womb by a baby growth device, and so they can erase the female type from humanity, that why also they don't seem to have a clue about what is love anymore like this people in real life ... today who are practicing selective abortion in case it's a girl, I guess before becomming observers, they must have all turned gay right ?

Looking forward to an awesome season. I'm hopeful that Peter and Olivia will find their way back to each other with a daughter to boot . . . It sounds so funny 'his wife . . . ' Peter and Olivia are married. Love it!

The fifth season of Fringe is really bittersweet to me. I am bummed this will be the last season, I know the original plan had 6-8 seasons planned, but things don’t always work to plan. I am glad however the creators have been given the opportunity to wrap up the story instead of simply being cancelled. My coworker at Dish and I started watching a few years ago, and it’s been one of my favorite show since. Since I’m not always home when Fringe airs; I’m glad I have a Hopper DVR to record Fringe for me. More than that, the Hopper will record everything in prime time from the four major networks automatically for me. I don’t have to set a reminder for individual reminders which mean one less thing to think about. I hope Peter, Olivia, and Etta can have a happy ending after five seasons of the characters being jerked around and torn apart.
