The Tweet-peat is beyond annoying! The episodes may be repeats but those who have not seen then yet would apprecitae watching them uninterrupted. The words scrolling on the screen are distracting. If people want to tweet it's great but please leave their conversations off the television screen. If were interrested in their conversations we would be on Twitter instead of watching Fringe on TV.
agreed, extremely annoying. Whoever came up with this idea is a moron.
Tweetpeat = FAIL! Worst idea ever. This crap is totally annoying. Yet, somehow, commercials are tweet free.
Annoying. Fire the guy that came up with this idea! Let us watch the episode in peace. At the moment I gave up wathching and I suggest you guys do the same.
Could I agree more? Who are these tweeters? They don't seem to be related to the scenes being shown. Lots of hype, no content.
Worst idea ever. I couldn't be MORE annoyed when watching TV. I'm just glad I've seen this episode before, but feel bad for those getting into it for the first time. Had I been in these shoes, I would do what Fox did with TSCC: Cancel my season pass. F this crap.
Yes I agree, I really like this show but if they keep this twitter stuff up, they will lose a veiwer
I hate the Tweatpeat and hope I never see it again. If I do I will have to give up watching TV altogether or at least this show.
It is bad enough that stations now have adverts all over the bottom of my television screen, sometimes through the entire show. They are constantly popping up and are extremely annoying. I notice that they don't show up when there are commercials. I don't know why people don't complain about them, maybe someone should take a poll to see what people think. It takes a lot of concentration to ignore them when I would rather enjoy the program. If there was a way to get rid of them believe me I would.
what brain damaged person thought this twitter garbage was a good idea??? Fire him!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whoever came up with this horrible idea should get fired. It's beyond annoying and the tweets are useless and brings nothing new to the show at all.
I admit I did not like the twiter on the screen and was going to turn it off. But I gave it a chance, and was reading it and realised it was a nice thing that they did, they were speeking to us as we were watching. And I thought it was speacial but just didnt know it was coming. Love the Show And Im not stoping to Watch it because of that...
Everyone needs to get over it...And if your a true fan you will hang in there...
get this crap off my screen, I can only see half of the show. I don't want to watch people's foreheads. if this is how it will be all season, I'll read a book!
Major Fail. The most annoying 2 minutes of television I have ever watched.
I am glad it was a repeat. If this were to continue during the new season I will find something new to watch.
So I tune in tonight, hoping to get caught up for the new season of Fringe and surprise, surprise...instead of getting to enjoy my favorite Fox show of the last year, I get to ignore an hour of scrolling nonsense vying for my attention.
You just know Fox programming execs asked themselves "What can we do to appeal to the new, hip "twenty-something" demographic?". That they came up with this nonsense is utterly embarrassing.
Seriously folks, do this distracting garbage again and I'll stop watching Fringe altogether.
Try me.
Is this what free TV has come to?At first I thought FOX got their "lines crossed". This is the most annoying thing ever. The tweets go almost half way up the screen. I'm sorry but I don't want to hear what peterbishop2, JPFringe or LabDad1 has to say while I'm trying to watch the show!! Completely distracting. I think I find a show I'm getting into - then this. LawFringe must work for fox.
In case it wasn't made clear enough during the broadcast...
The tweets shown on the screen were not just from random fans... they were actually from Joshua Jackson (peterbishop2), John Noble (labdad1), exec producer Jeff Pinkner (jpFringe), and exec producer Joel Wyman (jwFringe).
It was a unique opportunity to talk directly to the cast and crew during the show and get your questions answered.
if i want to chat with the casy and crew i will log in online i do not need that crap flashing on the screen while trying to watch tv and you know that was some secretary getting paid 5.00 an hour to pretend to be them.
