Fringe Summer Rewatch
During the current summer hiatus Sam Spade, Aimee Long, Dani, David Wu, Dennis, oranfly, Xindilini, birdandbear, and I will be rewatching all 65 episodes of Fringe. Starting on Monday, July 18th, we'll briefly post our impressions of every Fringe episode, a new one each day, keeping an eye out for things that present a different view post-Season 3.

It is our hope that we will all gain a greater insight into this award-winning show by watching where it has been before we pick up watching where it is heading on September 23rd.

We invite all of you to rewatch with us, and to comment on our impressions this summer. If you would like to write your own Fringe Summer rewatch review, send us an email!

Enjoy your "Fringe Summer"!

Dudes,

I do this every summer :-D. And in those old episodes there`s always a line of dialog where Walter sais something we didn`t pay much attention to back then. But after seeing the third season many things are clearer or I don`t know how to describe it better :-D.

I think with a show like this we should rewatch the whole series during the summer break. You`ll see the show in a different light. For example with LOST. I had to rewatch it 3 times (the whole series) to understand the show and the end. Just to be clear I first watched LOST during last year`s summer break so I didn`t watch it while it was on the air. And btw. who doesn`t get LOST should at least read FAQ on imdb.com - it`s very helpful with many things about it.

And back on track: I`m really looking forward to your posts about old episodes. Keep up the good work.

Dudes, I've been doing this since Nov 09 and still re-watch episodes every day. Awesome, will try to join in as well.

I'll be participating as well, and I can't wait to see what we all come up with!

Duely noted, Kim. The more the merrier.

Walter could be close to remembering that time has a shape. Time's shape is spiral. We all know it but forgot.

I love Fringe. It's my favourite show. But I am disappointed about one thing in season three: too much time spent with too many characters we don't know or care about. And while this new trend plot-wise is a big upside, the huge downside is that we spend way too much time deep into a series with shallow, new, washed-out versions of our favourite characters!

Season 3 on TV was a very chopped up season. There were many long breaks between some episodes. I find that the series makes better sense watching them on DVD .
Also I hate watching people get those giant needles. They always see to penetrate about 2 inches. How many people have stayed away from Fringe just because of that ?
