A Manhattan office building is rattled to its core, leaving only one survivor, and the Fringe Team examines his otherworldly origins. Once Walter surmises that what shook the building was something he discovered many years ago, the team races to Jacksonville to help Olivia reconnect with her past in order to avert what they fear will happen next.

Did anyone notice the spelling "Manhatan" with one T at the beginning of the episode? Was that spelling error or a sign that it was the alternate universe? Hmm.
Anyone catch the combination on the lock? 5-20-10. That's the date of the season finale!
I've usually got the "observer's eye" but I just couldn't spot him in this one. Also, I think it's really cool how Olivia is kinda pissed at Walter for real now and I'm liking the dynamic between Liv and Peter.
When Olivia is first looking for an object from the other universe in the Jacksonville facility, there are two wooly mammoth toys on the table that are unmistakably recent Mcdonald's happy meal toys based on the Ice Age franchise. This facility supposedly has been locked up for 30 some-odd years. I can't imagine that this was an oversight, but it doesn't make sense as being items from the other universe either, right?
The beginning scene was set in the other world, The man was looking at plans for a bunker under the Pentagon. Which we know was destroyed on 9-11 in the other world. (the dying man says so to Walter).
The man at the beginning is also wearing a wedding ring! More proof that it is set in the other world.
They also have "real coffee" as though it's a delicacy not found every 50ft in NY like it is now.
It is ep215, in the other world it is ep214. There they know how to show programs in the correct order.
'what lies below' was shown in season 1 over there.
'Unearthed' was the episode from Season 1, not 'What Lies Below'.
Jacksonville is #214, but it was the 15th episode shown during season 2.

The part when Olivia sits on a swing, a seahorse, flower, butterfly, and a hand were posted on the wall. The things posted are like the "glyphs" which are appearing during a break.
This is the scene where Walter finds a glasses, and then he wore it and he looked to an aluminum "thing" and then Olivia appears, sitting on a swing and Peter walks to Olivia.
great episode, felt fringe had been a bit hit and miss for a few episodes, but this was great. Ending was great
oh my gosh, i want to know what happens so badly now, they really left it hanging on this one grr, great episode though
I didn't catch the very last line in the episode, does anyone know what Walter said to Olivia while she was waiting for Peter to get his coat?
Watching the April 1 episode where peter dies as a child in the "real" world. Last I remember, Walter told Olivia Peter and he were in a car that ended up in a lake and they were drowning, and the bald guy saved Peter in exchange for future help from Walter. What'd I miss? Now Peter's a child and dies of a disease??? - what happened to him being saved from drowning as a child?????
ok, the Q about what happened to peter drowning has just been answered, Jumped the gun - sorry! Got my answer........
