If we are dealing with a place that includes William and Olivia's "consciousness" it would make it a lot more hostile/complex place to be. There two people essentially fighting for the same space – one of whom who may be quite reluctant to vacate and the other is someone who is often conflicted and tends to internalise her feelings. I think the busy city isn't a bad visual representation of what would be going on in there; an angry mob perhaps defending Olivia from yet more intruders (or William from those trying to remove him) also seems sensible.
John's mind wasn't exactly inviting at the start, but he had only one intruder and that was someone he loved.peter may be able to calm Olivia in the same way she did for John.
Right , that's because Olivia's mind is not like John's , Olivia has cortixephan which is protecting her , at the other side Altbrandon did notice that there is something in her mind which is protecting the mind .
Simon couldn't read her mind and Walter said that because the cortixi is immune .
So her mind is trying to protect itself from Peter and Walter ..
What is shouted at the end of the clip? Right after Peter gasps, "I gotta go back", and we see Olivia saying "Peter", someone shouts something, but I can't make it out.
It seems as though Olivia's mind is in the Redverse, at least for part of the episode. Trade Towers. A Nina who looks like she has no idea who Walter is. That would confuse me. I've often wondered about AltNina. Could Olivia have met her when she was Faux? At any rate, it didn't sound like Walter or Peter were having a good trip.
Maybe Olivia will learn about the baby while she is having a LSD trip taking her to the red universe, she was treated with cortexiphan and it could allow her to access to another level of conciousness even in a dreaming state, and maybe that's why she is running from Peter.
When they go into Olivia's mind it reminds me a lot of Inception.
ReplyDeleteWell , since the "Pilot" we already saw how Olivia did go to John Scott's mind and she was in his mind .
ReplyDeletethat's before "Inception "

When Walter is on top of the bus, there is a woman walking beside the bus who reminds me a lot Olivia but in Faux style clothing which is interesting.

ReplyDeleteno I'm talking about the part where Peter goes back to save little livvy , It has nothing to do with cortex , it's her evil stepfather

ReplyDeleteI can't help but love the moment at 0:51 with Peter putting on the shades all badass.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for this episode and see what made Peter "jump".
It's Peter, He say: "Walter!!!"
ReplyDeleteAnon at 8:26: Peter screams "Walter!" at the very end of the clip.
ReplyDeleteI flailed a little when I saw this, and watched it three times. Can't wait to see the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteAlso, that nurse and doctor must be so confused.

ReplyDeleteThe guy at 1.05 starring at the camera (not too happily) is he a shapeshifter? I recognise him but can't place him.
ReplyDeleteHe's Olivia's stepfather :)
ReplyDeleteAnon, how can Olivia learn about the baby? This is Olivia's mind, not Fauxlivia's. I'm sure William Bell doesn't even know about the baby.
ReplyDeleteAnon is probably theorizing that our Olivia is preggers as well...
