Fringe Promo-The End Of The Beginning

  1. Despite what Blair Brown said, I still don't really like Bolivia. Yes, she's been more humanized, but at the same time she's done some unforgivable things and believes in some unforgivable things (in my opinion). Hopefully by the end of the season, she'll change her mind (and it looks like she is) and make up for some of what she's done.

  2. If Pinkner and Wyman wanted us to have sympathy for the devil, then they failed. Devoid of all emotion, Walternate is and will remain a scurge upon our universe.

As for Faux, she has moved one rung up the ladder of sociopathy, but that still does not make her a likeable character.

  3. I do have to agree with you Anons to a point.
Agreed Walternate SEEMS too far down the path of madness to be helped. Faux will have to redeem herself BIG TIME before I would be impressed with her character. But never say never!

  4. Oops. Perhaps I meant Down a rung. She has yet to win me over, if ever.

  5. This suspense is driving me nuts. Will our Olivia survive or not? What universe will survive come out on top? CAN both survive?? etc etc... And this is just a few days wait. If the season is suppose to be a cliffhanger then i'm sure the wait for th e4th season WILL send me to the loony bin.

  7. What ever the none sense AltOlivia may do , am out of love with her , and worst in worst she will never ever can replace Olivia ,

I think the writers should know that better than us .

  8. Yucko! I'd rather have FauxLivia's body/mind with our Olivia's consciousness crowded in there.
They can have mental catfights 24/7!

No worries about the long summer hiatus, Anon.
We'll try to give you as many Fringe fixes in as many interesting ways as we can. :)

  9. I wouldn't be so quick to judge everyone's motives or decide their ultimate fates until I've seen the episodes. It's easy to make something look like something it's not...

  10. Absolutely Count Screwloose.
Relax, Matthew. We're just hanging out and unwinding with the characters of our favorite TV show! Tell us what you think will happen in Friday's episode.

  11. Like omg Matthew. What are you saying?? Like, Fringe isn't Real??
I'm like omg right now. Seriously. All this time I thought this was 4real and like real life and stuff and Olivia and Peter will be the ones to save us.... Like seriously, are u saying they're not real?? OMFG I can't believe it.... WE'RE GONNA DIE!!!!!!!

  12. Hey Curmudgeon! Who are YOU to tell US how we experience real life? Btw, we are discussing make believe. A story. It seems the line between fantasy and reality is blurrier to you than it is to others.

  13. It's too late to make Bolivia sympathetic. She could have developed a conscience, when she was over here and she saw nobody was at war with her universe, but she didn't care. She returned to her old life and she still didn't care. And now a baby will give her a conscience. What she couldn't do on her own, a baby will do for her. She's pathetic.

  14. I hope we get rid of Faux's character, as the producers said all this story bla bla bla will end by the end of the season.

  16. Making a despised character (which is my hero here BTW) into a redeemed character has been done before with success.

She is not evil or bad knock off. Her actions have helped me see deeper into Olivia Dunham's psyche without needing to watch the plain old Olivia.

If everyone is apt to wait for it the good deed, I think the point is lost in having an alternate universe.

To quote my favourite Trek. "Inside us are many voices, each with its own desires, its own style, its own way of viewing the world."

They are more alike under the skin, then most people would dare to believe. And I love Fringe for making it so.

  17. I wouldn't be surprised, better yet, I hope Faux / Alt- / this Olivia does stay on. I am not going to object if that happens.
