Fringe Discuss: Will Bell Be Out Of Olivia By The End Of 319?

It's Wednesday, Fringe fans, and time for another installment of "Fringe Discuss."

New Fringe episodes resume on April 15th with episode 319, "Lysergic Acid Diethylamine"(AKA "LSD"). This weeks' question relates to this new episode:

Do you think William Bell will be out of Olivia Dunham's body by the end of "Lysergic Acid Diethylamine", and if so where do you think he will go?

We can't wait to hear everyone's take on this so please comment below and tell us what you think!

NOTE: There's a lot of spoiler talk going on right now on the internet, and many fans here do NOT want to be spoiled, so please DO NOT post any spoilerish information or comments. You can post your spoiler info in the section headed "Spoilers."

Do you think William Bell will leave Olivia's body by the end of "LSD"?

  1. My guess is he'll be out of Olivia and they'll figure out how to put him in Gene somehow as they alluded to in Stowaway, but they won't be able to communicate effectively with him.
They can give him a cowbell when he wants to get their attention but Astrid will take it away from him when he's on her last nerve! Revenge!

  2. Yes, he'll have to leave sooner of later, but I'm wondering what they'll find in Olivia's Mind.
    Can't wait until the 15th

  3. Bell will be gone by the next episode. My guess is that he will simply let go and pass on.

I didn't really like the storyline to begin with.

  6. I think she will definitely be out by the end of this episode. But, I think that there are going to be a lot of complications and that they won't have time to find Bell a new host.

  7. Bell invented the shapeshifters, he's probably got his own imprint stashed somewhere, they could find a fresh corpse and he could come back as himself.

  8. I think Bell will stay inside Olivia, but he will go to sleep while Olivia wakes up and takes control of her body. I think in future episodes, Bell will sometimes wake up and help the team, but most of the time Olivia will be in control.

  9. Yes he will be gone before the end , the end will tie with the up coming episode 6:02 , maybe Peter will decide to take a forward move and engage with Olivia at the end of this episode ....

I can't wait to see what's in Olivia's mind too, Simon couldn't read her mind ... and for now we will be in her mind with Peter and Walter ..

Bell : he will go to another body and only him who knows which one and he will promise to contact them when he will be ready , or simply he will transform to only memory in Olivia's mind .. so Olivia can has Bell's memory and will learn what he already knew .

  10. I said no. I believe Bell will managed to hang onto Olivia's body for as long as he needs. It would be a shame to lose him now without knowing everything. (The next episode will hardly give them enough time to deal with his housing issues. Heh!)

Maybe Peter should start making room for Liv's consciousness. Just in case.

    What wonderful science fiction.

  11. Xindilini,
Didn't somebody write an interesting P/O fanfic a while back about them putting Liv's conciousness into Peter's mind?

  12. I said yes, I think he will have to go, and maybe he will to save Olivia, and in the end Olivia will have all of his knowledge, like when she was given Alt-Olivia's memories, she now seems to shoot even better then before, remember how surprised Olivia looking when she shot that guy right in the throat in Concentrate And Ask Again, I think with that they were hinting that she had learned something from Alt-Olivia, "even though we all have seen our Olivia but a bullet in peoples heads with even trying", but anyway, I think they are going to give Olivia Bells knowledge, although I do think Bell will fight them first, he is a bit of a selfish ass sometimes, so they might have to take him out by force, but we will see, can't wait till April 15th to find out!

  13. Leonard Nimoy said he was coming out of retirement. I guess this means we will see Bell as he was, but in something other than the flesh. An ethereal version of himself, perhaps? He could even pop up in Olivia's mind during the team's LSD adventure. Who really knows. All in good time kiddies.

  14. fringeobsessed,
You are right. Forgot about that. It didn't really end of a good note either.

  15. Xindilini,
Ooh. I just remembered that ending when you said that...

There are so many possible outcomes of this Bellivia business.

  16. I think he will be booted out of Olivia, but there will be some kind of fragment left over of Bell. Either that can communicate every so often to her or allows her some of the knowledge he has. So then that could be the unexpected role he plays, as some sort of ghostly figure.

  17. I think Nina and Massive Dynamic are cloning a body and when it is ready for occupancy, William we have a home to go to but there will be a slight complication. I think the body will appear young at first, making Walter jealous and wanting one, then it will start aging rapidly until it reaches Bell's correct age, whatever that is. Then Lenard will be back!

  18. That's an interesting thought, Matthew the C.
Yeah, they could use one of those comatose "Kyle" bodies from "Of Human Action" to put Bell in initially.

  19. His name is spelled LEONARD, not LENARD! I hope you can take it as well as you can dish it out Curmudgeon.

  21. Please be very careful when you post in the main thread here!
I want to post everyone's comments, but PLEASE do not mention who is definitely coming or leaving the show, HERE!
Many fans want to be surprised, so please put those posts in the "Spoilers" thread where us spoilery people can enjoy and comment on them.

  22. Thanks for policing this site blogger person. The majority of posters are smart and civilized and just want to have fun, but there are a couple alleged fans who are mean spirited. Even though I can sometimes make myself crazy with theories and hypotheses, I don't wanna know the outcome prematurely. Yes indeedy, I LOVES me my suuuprises.

Gee, glad I could brighten your day. Don't worry, I can take it.
Sometimes i have trouble with spelling names if there are multiple variations. i'll probably happen again - spit happens.

  24. I think it's weird how Bell came to the fore of Olivia's mind when the bell was wrung, then Olivia tried to come out when the church bell rang - maybe it has something to do with bells?
Anyways, I think that a suitable body will be found; it will have to be, since Walter has hit a dead end with figuring out how to save the universe, and Bell has answers.

  25. I think that we haven't seen the last of Belly latching himself on to Olivia or at least the possibility will be open for Bell to resurface in Olivia. I'd like to leave it open-ended. Bell appears to be out of Olivia, but maybe at the end of the episode she drinks some tea hinting that Bell hasn't full left Olivia conscious.

    All just idle speculation though.

  26. I'm not sure but maybe Olivia will find shelter in fauxlivia's body uh ! so she will learn about the baby and so on... but won't be able to warn Peter

  27. The producers said that Peter and Olivia will be reunited after 2 episodes (317 and 319), so are they telling the truth or not ?

  30. I think if it is Bell then he will go into Walter to help Peter. Something tells me it is the other Olivia.
