  2. And what was so bad about the sneak peek? That PETER is in it and no Walter or Olivia for once?

  3. I think they just meant that it doesn't tell us anything other than Peter is going for a long cabbie ride. lol ;)

(... well, and that Peter wakes up but you can get that from the promo)

  5. @Anonymous 5:04 PM: Your are being paranoic man :) hahaha, I mean this sneak peek it's not very clear, it's not a big spoiler cuz we don't understand what that means :) hahahhaha

  6. I found some interesting tidbits about this sneak peek, Peter asked to go to 42nd and Lexington like he KNEW where he was but the cab driver told him "he was in Pittsfield" which is in Massachusetts. Not to mention, the cab asked him, "are you feeling all right?" and "come again?".

Now what would Peter be doing in Pittsfield? And why would he want to go to 42nd and Lexington?

See, this video is more than Peter just going for a cab drive.

  8. what's wrong with Peter? memory loss ? Identity Crisis ?
Friday !!!!! where the hell are you ?!!!

Re: a sneak peek is a sneak peek , what's wrong with some people ? good or bad ? it's not always about spoilers ! I don't understand .

  9. It's funny that you people didn't find anything interesting in this sneak peek. When I finish watching it I was like "Oh My God, How did Peter got there? He doesn't remember what happened! Someone kidnapped Peter!" LOL, but maybe I'm too nervous with all this suspense

  10. did they wipe Peter's memory ?
I'm sure the people who did not find it interesting stoped watching when he called the taxi , because when I finished watching it , I was like OMG!!!!!
NOTE: always watch the sneak peek before reading the comments cuz they may be misleading ! LOLz

  11. I'm thinking the Massive Dynamic hangar that houses the machine might be in Pittsfield, MA, which is like 2 hours west of Boston, and a good 2 1/2 hours due north of New York City.

  12. 42nd and Lexington is the address of the apartment that Fauxlivia took Peter to in "Over Here Part 2"

  13. 42nd and Lexington is the address of the apartment that Fauxlivia took Peter to in "Over Here Part 2"

Are you sure? If so, that is a HUGE sneak peek!

  14. peter thinks he's on the other side:
The "Chrysler Building" is on 42nd and Lexington , in the episode Over there part 2 Walternate gave him that appartement near the Chrysler Building, you can make sure of that in some screencaps from the scene between him and altrivia in the episode OT part2 , he stops and stares to the building for a long time.

did he lost a part of his memories?
does he think he's still over there? or that he lives over there? or is that a peter from another time?

  15. At first I thought the cabbie was Mr X.

  16. If Peter wakes up thinking that he is still over there... Does that mean he won't remember anything that happened since his been back?? Or has he been killed and replaced by the machine OR............ I think I'm with you Fringeobsessed, my brain hurts too :-/

  17. You guys, look at the license plate. That's not a proper Massachusetts license plate ("Massachusetts" should be red, not black).

I wasn't able to sharpen it up enough to see if it actually said Massachusetts, but I was able to make the color distinctions.

Also, what kind of taxi still looks like that? That is an old-school 90s-style taxi. Compare to the taxi Henry drives. I don't think this is a place we've seen yet (at least not consciously)

  18. Also note: That's the same jacket he wore in Olivia's dream from the LSD episode, AND when he takes the wallet out of his pocket, he looks at it like it's not even his (or at least, like he's not sure what he's going to find)

  19. I was hoping the cabbie would have been Henry on our side.

  20. After watching the clip and reading the other comments, I wonder if Peter's having a coma dream of how his life could have gone (The Last Sam Weiss/The Last Temptation of the Christ)...

    ReplyDelete
  21. Could be a dream... Hold that thought-we might need it!

  22. Anon, a proper Massachusetts license plate has "Massachusetts" in BLUE not red.

It's hard to tell in the clip but I believe "Massachusetts" might be black on the cab's plate, but I'm not sure.

  23. If I'd just been told I was somewhere other than where I expected to be, and had had so many swapping experiences, I think I'd be very worried about what I was going to find in my wallet too.

I was presuming by the careful cropping etc of the taxi, that this was not at all what it seemed (not that you would expect it to be seeing as it is Fringe and they like to mess with our perceptions).

Fringeobsessed...Is Massachusetts spelt the same way Over There?

    ReplyDelete
  24. poor peter
reminds me of Olivia/Henry scene in 3.01 when she was confused too

    ReplyDelete
  25. I believe so, FringeFrogee.
But we know they do mess with spellings, as "Manhatan" is the spelling Over There.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Was that a 'Show me' Peter gave the cabbie? Might be a glimpse of that 3rd. universe.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Never
mind. It's a credit card. License plate is Massachusetts Can't tell if it's blue or black on white.

    ReplyDelete
  28. As someone who lives in Pittsfield, MA, I see so many things wrong with this video. There is no elevated train in Pittsfield, nor any cabs that look like that.

    Pretty cool shout out, though.

  29. To Anon and Tom above,
I did some research at fringefiles.com and found that "42nd and Lex" is NOT the address of the fancy apartment to which FauxLiv took Peter. That's on 71st.

  30. As someone who currently lives in NYC and grew up in Pittsfield this episode is especially interesting to me. No yellow cabs, or buildings over 6 floors in Pittsfield with the exception of one hotel. Certainly no above ground trains. No hustle and bustle except maybe at the 4th of July parade.

  31. I live in Pittsfield Ma and the fact they don't use the actual city pisses me off.....though i honestly don't blame them the city isn't pretty what so ever but they could have used some place realistic instead of here
