the first episode-second season-of Fringe was great. good script & acting. good cinematography & directing. This was BECAUSE Abrams wrote it. the second episode was awful & silly. it contained some gross mis-infomation - where is their medical consultant?? a woman with SLE CERTAINLY CAN bear children. I have had the disease all my life and have a 30-year-old son & a 21-year-old son. I had the 21-year-old when I was 38 years old. so that was a glaring error to anyone who knows about the disease - and I had LOVED Fringe the 1st season, where it was pure science fiction & they didn't try to include "accurate" medical information and miss the mark completely.also, the "monster" child was ridiculous and silly looking.it was probably CGE'd. problem is that Abrams did not write or direct it-but handed it off to incompetent people, UNLIKE when handed off Lost to Damon Lindelof, who has done an extraordinarily tremendous job with Lost. if Abrams is going to be involved in TV shows like Fringe, he needs to pay more attention & make sure "he" gets it right. I was saddened and sorely disappointed with this episode. I will keep watching for a while and see if they do a better job in future episodes.
