Fringe Review: Letters of Transit

“Resistance must take place at any opportunity.”

This was a great episode, almost despite itself. An hour devoted to people we have never met, this close to what might be the final episode of the show ever? And yet it was touching, interesting, and extremely well done, just like all Fringe episodes are. But while “Letters of Transit” was a great episode, I’m still not sure that I’m on board with the direction this season has taken, or with the place of this episode in the master plan.

Vote For Fringe In The E! "Save One Show" Poll - Final Round!

      Email Post       4/23/2012 05:37:00 PM

E! Online is running their annual Save One Show event, which gives you a unique chance to help rescue your favorite endangered series from the evil clutches of cancellation. Here is an explanation of how it works:
After we get our winner, we announce the show to save on E! News and on E! Online, and then we take your message directly to that network. The powers-that-be will get your message loud and clear. And in the past decade, we've successfully help rescues shows like Felicity, Angel and One Tree Hill. When we get down to the finales, we even get the stars of the shows involved, and the outcome is always amazing.
UPDATE: Fringe has made it to the final round of voting, but it will need a lot more votes to overcome the current front runner "Body Of Proof". There is still plenty of time to catch up, since polls don't close until Sunday, April 29 at 5 p.m. PT. So tell your friends, and vote often!

#Fringe’s Josh Jackson On Twitter Fears AND John Noble Shows Off New Haircut (seriously)
by Jim Halterman on April 20, 2012

@VanCityJax @JPFringe @JWFringe Talking to Josh Jackson (Peter) last week on the red carpet at the Paley Center’s TV Out of the Box event may have been pointless in terms of getting spoilers BUT he did urge everyone to watch Episode 19 of Fringe, which airs tonight on FOX (9/8c right after The Finder). And the always lovely John Noble (Walter), fresh from shooting the finale, sported a sharper new look.

EP's Joel Wyman & Jeff Pinkner LIVE Tweeting During 419-Josh Jackson Too!

      Email Post       4/20/2012 06:42:00 AM

You've heard me say executive producer Joel Wyman is a frequent visitor to Twitter.
Especially lately, as he knows Fringe fans have been awaiting news of a renewal of the series for a 5th season.

Wednesday afternoon Joel dropped in and said he and co-showrunner Jeff Pinkner will be live tweeting
both airings of episode 419 this Friday night.

As icing on the cake, Josh Jackson tweeted a few hours later that he would be live tweeting also,
but only during the West Coast airing.

Say hello to Joel, Jeff, and Josh and shower them with praise this Friday night!

If you do not have a Twitter account you can easily make one at http://twitter.com/

Follow the 3 of them at these Twitter addresses:

@JWFRINGE  Joel Wyman
@JPFRINGE   Jeff Pinkner
@VanCity Jax   Joshua Jackson

(fo note:I wouldn't be surprised to see other Fringe alumni live tweet also such as Jasika Nicole,
Kirk Acevedo, Lance Reddick, Michael Cerveris, and Michelle Krusiec.)

Fringe Observiews 4.18 The Consultant

      Email Post       4/19/2012 10:58:00 AM

Welcome to the Observiews for Season 4 of Fringe. I call them Observiews because they are more visual observations than deep thinking reviews, if that makes sense.

Screen caps from this episode are taken from fringefiles.com. Dialog is from fringepedia.net/transcripts.

All observations are mine and therefore could be totally off the wall and/or wrong. I have not read or looked at any recaps or reviews. I could also have missed a few things, oh well…
