Fringe Super Bowl Commercials

There were two Fringe commercials that I saw during the big game last night. The first was a Fox spot titled "Game On", featuring John Noble, and many other stars from Fox shows. This appears to be an edited down version of the spot shown before the Super Bowl, which also featured Joshua Jackson and Anna Torv.



The second was a very short Fringe specific spot, which had clips from past episodes.

There was a much longer version of this spot during the pre-game show. I'll try to get it up later tonight.

Fringe Review: Concentrate and Ask Again

“Do you know how it feels to be burdened with something that makes it impossible for you to relate to another person?”

What an odd episode. My narratological radar was pinging like crazy before the credits, as we were privy to three different opening scenes. A Tristam Shandy allusion? A structural hint that we may get a red, blue, and yellow universe? Or just an indication that this episode is transitional, drawing out mythological, emotional, and thematic plots that will have important resonances in episodes to come?
