That small smile Anna Torv gave when she was talking to Charlie again, that scene in the car when Charlie talked of how obsolete he felt. It just reminds me of that talk he gave Olivia a long time back in season 1 right after John died. That small scene in the lab with Astrid and Peter (CALLED IT. Totally called Astrid's admiration for Petey), Bell's final scenes... Then there's John Noble. <3

I love shows with good actors who use the smallest scenes to their advantage.

The prospect of how big this is going to be next season... yep. FOX needs to move fringe to a better night next fall, possibly the Monday night slot after House that will be open since 24 is ending. I also think that William Bell is the one who built the universe destroying device. Maybe he designed it so that only Peter could use it because he knew Peter was in the other universe and Walternate would have a hard time retrieving Peter to use the device.Dnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-788645746622659643.post-46234051811786261792010-05-21T06:07:52.301-04:002010-05-21T06:07:52.301-04:00@Sara - Okay. I couldn't ask for more.

I'm left frustrated that Olivia's swapped. But not at the writers. The anxiety is internal to the show, I'm throughly wrapped-up in the series and this was a great thriller for any sci-fi fan. It isn't that they were trying to pull the whole "impersonator" thing. I really do think this is a way for Olivia to explore the other universe. As I said many times before already, it's for something big, and if a small thing like the swap is going to take us there; then I'm on it.

@Jen: I thought so too, but once they got to the opera house Walter seems to believe that Olivia wasn't enough and Bell kept going on about how he'd be doing everything. You do not just have Olivia for all intents and purposes declare her love for Peter and then go and switch her for her alt. That's just not done.

I'm pissed off. Very.

The episode was great, although I do believe Bell gets off just a tad easy. And what the hell did he mean when he said he crossed over and stayed to prevent a war. What, they were gonna pull a Warren Ellis moment and wage war between parallel Earths? How, and to what end? Wouldn't it have made more sense for Walternate to contact Walter and explain what his incursion into their universe had wrought so together they could find a solution? And, if Walter's trip into the other side was in fact responsible for all the laws of nature going haywire, how the deuce did they have the means to "quarantine" Boston? Was it not said in this season's last episode the city was quarantined by Fringe Division? Therefore implying Fringe had been around since before the Boston incident, which would mean Walter's little raid was in fact not responsible for the end of their world and suggesting Walternate may have had more to do with it than he advertises? Hmmm, I believe there is food for thought there. And lastly, I do sincerely hope They don't make us wait until the end of next season to get our Olivia together with Peter. Please, please, pretty please with a cherry on top.Redhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03764486242294169953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-788645746622659643.post-45201419012979200882010-05-21T19:47:27.688-04:002010-05-21T19:47:27.688-04:00@Sara If they hadn't JUST done it with Charlie...@Sara If they hadn't JUST done it with Charlie in the beginning of this very season AND if they hadn't had NO one realize that Charlie wasn't Charlie until the very last second I probably wouldn't be as annoyed...
